Good News!

Well on Thursday I went in for an ultrasound and my placenta is out of the "red zone" for the placenta previa!! Woohoo!! So as of right now no C section for me! Thank the lord above lol!

I still need to get my blood pressure up....but besides that Miss Delany is cooking away! She's moving like a crazy woman and almost 2 pounds :)

She looks just like Avery did in her 3D. I have a feeling she is going to be a replica lol.

The Keilman's Lately

It's been a busy few weeks here at the Keilman Pad.......Which is good for me because it is making time go by a tad faster with this not so fun pregnancy LOL. We had a surprise bday party for a friend last wknd, and headed out to Maricopa the next day for Avery's cousin Tophers bday party. Avery had a blast at the park and playing with all her cousins. And the party was a success, the bday boy was surprised!

Avery, my mom and I had a mini girls day Friday. It was a great time. My mom and I registered for my shower then picked up Avery from school. We went to the mall to ride the trains and ended up at builda bear!! Avery picked out "Miss Kitty" with a princess dress with fairy wings. :)

Delany update....Pretty much the same. She is growing great and BIG. LOL. No change in placenta yet but I'm hopeful it will all fall into place. So as of right now I will be getting a C section at 36 wks if it doesn't change. I have had an abnormal drop in my blood pressure over the last few visits from my nurse. She says its very low and to watch out for dizziness or fainting spells....geeeeeeeeez just one more thing to the growing list of "issues"...kill me now! I'm trying to stay as positive as I can but believe me I am OVER it. LOL

The hubby got his truck!! Woohoo! He sold the civic and the old 4runner and finally got what he's been looking for. He's in the process of ordering his lift kit and tires. So within a few wks........I pray lol...it will be done. All joking aside tho I am very excited it will be exactly what he wants, and he will be out on the trails again soon! So crazy and exciting to actually know we both finally have the vehicles we have been wanting and waiting for. Such a great stepping stone for us to getting back on track. Next up......buying our house :)!!

Well every year since they were born we have kept it a tradition to do a photo shoot with Avery and Ryder since they were born on the same day. It's been so fun watching them grow and seeing how amazing their bond still is. I can honestly say my daughter is in love with him lol. Daily she tells me how she loves him and how he is "her best boy" or "boyfriend". She talks to him when he's not here lol and plays with him. It's hilarious. We got some great shots this year! They had a blast! As did the Mommy's, we got a crack up outta watching them!!

All the girls met up again for our annual "Girls Only Gift Exchange" this year after Xmas. It was at my house and I was super excited to host and for some new girls to join our tradition. I had so much fun and lots of tears making a slide show of all the girls through the years to play. I loved seeing all the girls and how much they have grown. It's so crazy to see all the different personalities and how much each of them change from the previous year. Avery was beyond excited but I definitely think she got a little overwhelmed because at times she was completely out of sorts lol. But overall I think everyone had a great time playing dress up, eating, bouncing, and exchanging gifts! Thank you everyone for the great party. Avery drew Lola's name and loooooooooooved her cabbage patch and crayons. I was super bummed Jenni's camera went dead because my pics just aren't as good!! Whaaaaaa (snookie lol), but here are the ones I did get! I was actually shocked because usually there are camera's flashing all over the place, I think the Mommy's were to busy enjoying their MUCH NEEDED adult time lol. That's the other great thing we get to also get together and catch up on life! Love you all!

Can't believe I'm 33 yikes lol!! Well I had an amazing Bday. Got to share the day with my favorite people and even have a second celebration later in the week! We went that morning to the Anthem outlets and shopped and had lunch. Then that night friends and family met at Ah So for dinner. After, we even went over to Salty's for a few drinks (man my DP was amazing :( sigh...i miss wine!) lol. That Friday my mom and Brandon's family took me to The Outback yummmmmm!!!! Thank you so much to everyone who made it a great Bday week!!!!!!!!!!! I am so lucky!

A Keilman Christmas

We had a great holiday season this year. We spent it with all of our families and friends. Xmas eve we went to my moms house then to Brandon's moms house. Then Christmas morning we relaxed at home then headed to Brandon's dads house for our Xmas with them. Avery was spoiled like always as were B and I :). It was so awesome seeing Avery open up all the gifts and get so excited. Santa brought her a new bike, she is still getting the hang of it but loves it. She also got new cowboys boots from her Auntie Jocelyn and a hand made blanket from her Uncle Mo. Adorable new bedding from Gma and Gpa. She also got lots of dress up clothes from Pappy, Grammy and Mom and Dad. Dress up shoes that she looooooooves and dances in everyday. A new easel from Nana and Papa and a piano from her Auntie Carli. And tons more things overall. We are so lucky to have such amazing families!!!!

Delany Rose

So I thought I'd give a little update on our little shrimp and Mommy. It's been a tad more complicated this time around but as of know we are both doing well and hoping for the best. She's already trying to give Mommy a headache LOL. I am receiving weekly progesterone shots to keep me from going into labor early. I'm also getting my cervix measured every few weeks to make sure it isn't shortening . So far they are holding off on putting a cerclauge (sp) in because it doesn't show signs of to much shortening to be concerned for. During my 16 wk appt though they saw that I now have Placenta Previa (woohoo fun times). So basically besides work, I'm pretty much supposed to be on "pelvic rest" and not do much of anything. This is obviously pretty hard with a BUSY 3 year old and 2 jobs LOL. But I am trying my best! :) My doctor says that hopefully my placenta will naturally move up on its own, but if not then she will do a C section at 36 weeks. I completely DREAD this. I had such a good experience after having Avery, I was back into the swing of things pretty much the next day. I can't imagine being "out of comish" any longer. But if it has to be, it has to be. She also says as long as I have no spotting or bleeding the rest of my pregnancy I can still work (thank god).

So baby is growing perfectly (as am I blah LOL) and checking out healthy. I figure it's only 4 and half more months right?? I can do this right???? I mean no drinking and no sex ...geeeeeeeeeez....LOL....

I seriously can not believe my little girl is 3! The time has flown. She has been the greatest blessing in our lives. I thank god everyday I have such an amazing, beautiful, funny, smart little princess! She had a GREAT time at her party! It was so fun seeing her with all her little friends and smiling from ear to ear. Thank you everyone who made it out, we love you all.

Got a little emotional thinking of doing this post. So I wanted to go down memory lane a little, to remember this 3 year journey..........

A few weeks ago we celebrated Jodi's 40th Bday in style. She grew up in the 80's and LOVES it, so of course that was the theme! It was a blast. I will let the pictures speak for themselves! We had a ton of fun and different outfits that rocked that era!

Last weekend we went to look at a new truck and.......we got it! We planned on going to look after the holidays for a new vehicle. But we told ourselves if something came up before then on Craig's or whatnot, then we would check it out. When B showed me this I fell in love with it! He's definitely turned me into a Toyota lover <3! We figured because of our recent BK that we would get killed with interest rates, but we also knew that was all part of it. Building back credit wouldn't be easy but it could be done and we are determined! We got an amazing surprise with and INCREDIBLE interest rate and GREAT payment! I am beyond excited mainly because I know all of this is leading us to our end goal .... A NEW HOME!

Now we are in the process of selling our other two vehicles so Brandon can get the truck he wants.

If you know anyone interested we are selling a 2002 Honda Civic 4,000.00 and a 1999 Toyota 4Runner (4x4) for 7,000.00....text me if you want a pic!

On Wednesday morning we went to our ultrasound for the gender and...

IT'S A GIRL!!!

I had a gut feeling the whole time it was a girl regardless of all the other "tests" we did or things we looked up. Brandon on the other hand thought no doubt about it, that it was a boy. LOL! I'm soooooooooooo excited for Avery to have sister!! I always wanted a sister and I see all the bonds between my friends and their sisters.

We looked on our chinese calendar and it said mostly that we were having a boy (but some said girl) and when we did the "ring on a string" test it said boy. So looks like nothing really told the full truth LOL.

Wednesday night we had our family over to reveal the sex of the baby. Brandon and I made cupcakes and filled the center with pink frosting and everyone took a big bite at the same time :).

We have been so lucky every single doctors appt I have got an ultrasound and got to see the little shrimp. She is CRAZY lol. Avery never moved that much in my belly. This one was kicking and doing somersaults lol. Everything is going well with pregnancy so far. I start my progesterone injections in two wks and will get my cervix measured then, and then every week till pregnancy is over pretty much in case they need to put in the cerclage.

And NO I am not having anymore LOL. Now we just need to decide on a name. It's narrowed down pretty much to Delany Rose or Scarlett Rose. So we will see! :)


This was the best one from our session. So crazy how at 14 weeks it's already a little person!

A Keilman Halloween

Wow, what a Halloween weekend we had! So busy and so fun!

Friday morning Avery had a Halloween Party at her school. Even though she refused to wear her ears (which was most of the weekend) she still looked adorable in her costume. Isn't it so funny how they were those things for like a week straight lol. She would look at herself in the mirror and twirl and dance lol. It was to cute. After the party we went over to my nail place and Avery got matching Minnie nails. :)

Saturday night we went to the festival at Peoria Sports Complex. My mom joined us and we met up with some of our friends Heather, Mario, and their daughter Madison. Madison is in Avery's gymnastics class and we have known her parents for awhile now. The kids had a blast! They loved the bouncy obstacle course and the bouncy horses the best.

Then Sunday morning we headed to the pumpkin patch and met up with Courtney and Baby K and The Drydens. The kids were a riot. Avery always says "Ryder is my best friend" but Ryder now refers to her as "My girlfriend" LOL. They honestly kept kissing and hugging each other and we actual weren't even asking them to! It was hysterical!! That night we headed over to Ray and Jodi's for family dinner and it was Halloween themed! We had "mummy meatloaf", "ghostly mashed potatoes", "monster toe appetizers", and "gobblin mac n cheese". We also did some pumpkin carving. Daddy and Pappy made Avery her Bert and Ernie.

Monday night we headed over to Pappy and Grammy's to go trick or treating. There neighborhood is always packed and everyone gets out in front of their houses. Avery did so good. She said "Twick or Tweet" and "Thank You" every time. She even took up her cousin Kenley's bucket to score her some candy too :).

It was such a great weekend with friends and family. I loved that we got a chance to have everyone there at different times. We did miss Nana and Papa though :(. But they were super busy with the new baby and Carli. But we know they were there in spirit! We love you guys!

Brookyln Christine Romero

Well I am officially an Auntie again!! Brooklyn was born on Oct 27th weighing in at a tiny 4 pounds 2 ounces and 19 inches long. She was 3 1/2 weeks early due to Mommy's high blood pressure. She had to stay in the nursery for a few extra days to make sure she kept up her weight. Mommy and Daddy got to bring her home yesterday, and everyone is doing great! She is a beauty! Avery keeps referring to her as "Carli's baby" lol but I keep saying that means she is your cousin :).

Also Carli's boyfriend had a ring burning a hole in his pocket for MONTHS, waiting for the perfect opportunity to pop the question! After his baby girl was born he got down on one knee in front of family and friend!! It was soooooooooooo sweet! And, P.S. her ring is stunning!!!! We are so excited for their little family!!

A couple of weeks ago we headed out to Utah to visit Brandon's sister and her boyfriend. We had the BEST time!! I definitely started having any Avery withdrawl come the second day lol. It was the longest we had been away from her. Of course she was having a blast at home with my mom and Brandon's mom and step-dad. We spent the weekend relaxing, enjoying the weather and the company. Jocelyn is like my own sister so I love all the time I have with her. We could talk for hours and hours on end. Usually accompanied by wine but this weekend we didn't get to enjoy any of the vino lol.

We went to the Jason Aldean concert Saturday night which was AMAZING. We also visited Park City, visited a beautiful waterfall while on a hike, and had a Pajama Party night. And mainly just spent a lot of quality time together. Thank you Jocelyn and Dustin for a wonderful weekend. We love you guys and can't wait to see you in a few weeks!

A huge thank you to Nana, Papa, and Gma for taking care of the little stinker. I'm sure she was an Angel...right??? hehehehe.....

Ok, last blog for today I swear LOL!! I think four is enough for one day. Btw, If you are reading this and do not have a blog please still post a comment on any of the blogs I post! I know that a lot of our family keeps up on these and I would looooooooooove to hear all the comments!

A few weeks ago Avery and her Nana got down in their tutu's! It was hilarious! Gma's will do anything for the grandkids LOL. I made Avery a tutu bed skirt a few months ago and ended up hating it! Btw, I have been slowly but surely getting her "Princess Room" all finished up and promise to post pics when its all done! I'm just anal and want it perfect before I do my blog on it :). Anyway the bed skirt has since been used for lots of crafts, gifts, and we wrapped it up to make Nana a tutu this night so she could dance with Ree :).

A few weeks ago we were able to meet up with our Besties two have some Peter Piper Pizza fun! The girls had a blast running around and playing games. It was the first time Avery went on the jungle gym/ slide thingy! I think she felt comfortable because Jay was a pro! The moms and dads also got some time to chat (which is rare with toddlers). It was a blast! With work, school and life we don't get much time to hang out much :(. So it was nice to get some quality time in.

This weekend Chris and I hosted Carli's baby shower at my house on Saturday! We had a huge turnout and lots of fun! You all I know I love throwing any kind of party but I was honored to do this for my sis! I love her and can't wait to meet her daughter, Brooklyn! She is due on Nov 20th so it's getting so close! Little Shrimp

Well it's been a looooooooong two weeks of waiting for our Ultrasound we got this morning. And we are happy to say the baby has been growing good and I am officially 7 wks and 3 days and have a due date of May 18th :). I am so relieved and we are stoked to start the journey!

Basically when we went in for our first visit, the doctor was not finding a heartbeat. Based on my last period, or approximate time of my last period this made no sense. We should of at the least had a 6 to 7 wk fetus, and a heartbeat would of been on our vaginal ultrasound. Yes, I know everyone is different but still red flags went up. So I proceeded to start my blood work, and they said I would have to come back in 2 weeks to get another ultrasound. My first set of blood was really low, but they couldn't make a good judgement until round 2. Round 2 did go up, so that was good. Then today the stress and worry came to an end when we saw our "shrimps" heartbeat. I love the name Shrimp haha!!! The tech said she feels like this early of a fetus, she thinks it looks like a shrimp. It stuck! LOL!

We are very excited now and ready to "try" to enjoy this. I have had a very rough time so far though :(. VERY VERY tired which doesn't work for me lol. Feel like an absolute cow :(. I was SHOCKED at how large my uterus looked in the ultrasound. LOL. The doc said it's total normal with your second, since your body knows whats up LOL. But still not to fun feeling like a tired, old fatty.

But it's only now 8 months left of my pregnant life then I'M DONE! LOL.

Brandon obviously is rooting for a boy. I on the other hand am torn. I'd love a boy but I think It would be awesome for Avery to have a sister and to have two little princess's :). So we will see! We plan to do a fun announcement party before Thanksgiving. And at that point I plan on sharing a blog I'm starting about "Old Wives Tales" and gender. I've already started some "tests" that people say they rely on to find out. So it should be fun to see how correct all of these really are :). PS text or email me any fun ones you have done or heard of. I'd love to try. But of coarse no pink or blue will be purchased till the ultrasound :).

I think we are pretty set for a boy name. Benjamin Michael (even though I'm still rooting for Connor Michael). Still torn on a girl between Ella Rose and Scarlett Rose.

On Saturday our friends, Heather and Mario, invited us to dinner for Mario's Bday at Westgate. We had a great dinner at Saddle Ranch. The kids and the mommies had fun with the smores and cotton candy lol. After, we hung out at the splash pad and let the kids go wild. The weather was amazing!!!! Avery had a great time with her friend Madison. It was such a great day with family and friends!

8 Man Jam!

I just have to start by saying this was probably one of the greatest experiences of my life!! Especially with music. Kristen and I had been trying to win tickets on the radio forever! The show was at Talking Stick Resort and was held by Kmle Country. It was a private showing and you couldn't buy tickets, they could only b won!

Last weekend at Josh's bday party I was rambling about loving Jason Aldean and country. And one of the guys there tells me he had tickets to 8 Man Jam and that he wasn't able to go. I about DIED. Obviously I offered to buy the tickets! And that was that!!!

Kristen and I headed out on Wed afternoon to the resort. The tickets were amazing! Any tickets actually were amazing considering it was a private venue. We had a table and our own waitress. It was so exciting!! Then it just got better!! One of the DJ's from Kmle was walking around and talking with everyone. Asking how they got their tickets and wishing them all a good time. It was so personal, it didn't even feel like we were at a concert! As we chatted he asked us our names, and I teased him because he kept butchering my name LOL. So I told him he could call me Cami or by my alter ego name Ginger LOL. Yes, Brandon this is from the radio thing we heard.... and No Joce I didn't boot Madison :), I just think we need country girl names too LOL!!! Anyway he was a super sweet man talking bout his wife and kids. He even came back by later and said "Cami Keilman right". Next thing I know Tim and Willy are up on stage introducing the show and getting ready to announce the first performer. Then they start talking about how they couldn't believe someone no showed for front row seats, and making jokes. Then they say is there a Cami Keilman here?? I think I pee'd my self a little LOL. Kristen and I got to go down and be in the front row. AMAZING!!! The guy (Charlie) walking around was trying to find the right story to win the tickets. I had no idea!! It was crazy!

The show was insane. I LOVE all the performers. Some being my absolute favorites (If JA was there I prob would of seriously died). They all sang individual songs and then jammed out together. It was surreal. All so unique and talented.

Honestly, it was like a dream.

A Greek Birthday Bash

Last weekend we celebrated our good friend, Josh's birthday Roman style! His wife Jenn threw him an AMAZING Toga party. It was sooooooo fun seeing everyone dressed to impress in their toga's and gods and goddess outfits. I made mine and B's, and it was a lot of work but we had a blast doing it. With only a few switches last minute due to material drama lol. I was pretty happy with the outcome! There are so many good pics, so I couldn't help but post a lot :). 

Finally...Cabin Fever 2011

I finally finished the book from our trip this past July!! Woohoo, I never thought i would! This was created through my CM program. I just uploaded some of the pages into Picnik so they could be viewed like they are in the book.

A little about the trip....

We headed up on Thursday morning and caravan'd to the Cabin. We were there until Monday afternoon. The trip was packed with relaxation, adventure, fun, food, drinks, laughs, and most of all family. Ray and Jodi treated the whole family to the trip! It was amazing. Each couple (Courtney and Hayden acting as "couple") were in charge of meals. It was so fun prepping the meals and preparing them. There was rule also that whoever the cooks were, they had to were the cowboy hat. :) Thank you Jenni for the great hot dog recipes!! They were a hit!! We spent one day driving UP and DOWN a mountain to find a fabulous creek. Where we enjoyed cliff diving and swinging on a rope swing into the water. Avery LOVED the water as always. She was even jumping off the "side" at one point. One of the nights, we walked (yes walked) to a bar called The Bear. It was in the middle of the woods basically lol. Yes, how AMAZING is that! It was a blast, with dinner, pool, and dancing. There was even a "one man band" he sang and played a ton of instruments. Avery loved him (probably because he also had a Kermit the Frog puppet :) ) She stared and watched, and was so concerned when he left for any break lol. She boogied the night away with everyone. The other days and nights were spent enjoying each other with games, crafts, and trips to town. Obviously there are a ton of inside jokes in the book. Feel free to ask what any of them mean lol. The stories are hilarious, but i'd be here all day telling them. :)

P.S. let's just say everyone on the trip inherited a "name" ending in Bitch lol. From some incedent that occured during the trip. Some examples being...Britney Bitch, Tippy Bitch, Bacon Bitch, Spritzer Bitch, and so on....again feel free to ask lol. :)

It's been a suuuuuuuuuuper stressful few weeks around here at the Keilman household. I feel like I never stop. Juggling the two jobs has kept me super busy. Working for State Board is actually a really cool and easy job, BUT I do drive around all day in the heat and get in and out of my car nonstop. So during this hellish summer, it stinks. But I am dealing. And there is always my 3rd job (domestic goddess) that keeps me with my head spinning as well. I'm sure all you working momma's know how hard this one is. On my days off there isn't much of a break. I need a vacation. LOL.

Our car decided it was going to blow it's engine a few weeks ago, so as u can guess that was SUPER FUN!! Ummmmmm NOT! We got it all fixed and now the air is giving us issues. GEEEEEEEEEEEEZ!!!!!! I swear you take one step forward to take two steps back! LOL.

Avery has been struggling at school a little this past month, which has made some very hard days for me as well. Her AMAZING teacher Mrs. Garvey had to take a 2 month leave of absence and they couldn't hold her spot and hired a new teacher. She is a very nice lady, but it is VERY different than the way her other teacher was. Also, the same week Mrs. Garvey left, was Ryder's last week. Double Wammy! She is doing better, but is still not the same when she walks in the door. She is back to being more hesitant. But I do know change is going to happen and she has to learn to deal with it in her life. The school is amazing and I could not imagine her anywhere else, but it is still hard. So I am hoping time will heal and it will get better.

Potty training has started. Avery could care less. I've done all the "tricks" and suggestions of other mothers, grandmothers, and whatnot. But the kid just doesn't care LOL. I want to be frustrated but I will not let myself. When she is ready it will happen. It just gets old hearing the comments. If one more person tells me their kid was potty trained at 15 months, I may throw up in their face. Seriously, come on. I mean I highly doubt it's true, and if it is I'm pretty sure it wasn't without any accidents LOL. But hey if ur kid truly is a Rockstar like that and was......then props to you. But Miss Avery is not LOL.

There has been fun times tho as well! We have had great family weekends. Sunday dinner is always amazing. We have been blessed with great fam and friends to share it with. And we had a great lake trip last weekend. Avery LOVED it. She was obsessed with the boat and was jumping off the back into the water constantly.

Oohhhhhhh Boy!! Derek sent me this today. And even though it's pretty darn embarrassing, I don't care!! It was sooooooo fun at the cabin on our family trip. Crazy enough, I did not know this dance! Which is insane because I LOVE to dance. But since it's kinda like the electric slide, I just followed along and rocked it the best I could. LOL!!

Saturday night Susie invited us to come hang at her friends bar, The Heights. It's literally right down the street from us so it was perfect. Plus with everyone's crazy work, school, kid, family and life schedule it had been way to long since we got together. It was great hanging with my besties. We closed the bar down and had a blast. A Surprise Visit!

My sis Jocelyn popped into town Sat morning for a visit! We were so excited to see her (especially Ree). She joined us Saturday night for a mutual friends bday party at Hurricane Bay. Joce and her man Dustin had never had a "Bay Experience". Of course, with not a doubt in my mind to start with, they had a blast. So did everyone! Sunday was our traditional family dinner, but with our special guests, we invited a few more friends over to join in the fun. Avery had so much fun with her Auntie playing and swimming. It's so crazy how now that she is older, she remembers her family members so much. She is always asking for Joce (as well as others) and remembering things they share together. For example, she ALWAYS tells me how her My Girl jewelry box is from "Jossssyn".

My girl Britney Spears was back in the Valley last week! And you bet your britches I was there keeping it real baby!! She, like always, put on an AMAZING show! She may do a "little" bit of lip singing but the girl can dance and perform. Worth every dime spent on a ticket. Joining me this year was my friends Melissa, Heather, Ashley, and my wonderful sis Courtney. I was sooooooooooo glad Court ended up getting a ticket, and even happier when I snuck her into our section :). I love my GF's, but I especially loved having my sis with me. Tonight we went to Brandon's sisters house so that the whole family (including Carli and Anthony) could find out the sex of their baby. They had a doctors appointment today and had the doctor write it on a paper inside an envelope. Then Chris took it to the baker and the cake was made. They cut the cake after dinner. It was AWESOME. Carli, like I was, is definitely scared of having a girl LOL. So this video, and her reaction was priceless!! But I know she will love it. I mean the girl loves her some shoes :)!

I got the CUTEST ring in the mail yesterday from my sis Jocelyn! I LOVE IT!!

A few summer's ago I went to a friend's daughters birthday party and Avery got the cutest swim bag. I still use it to this day whenever we go anywhere that involves her swim stuff (Thanks Candis!). So I was in Michaels the other day and had been thinking of making one for my niece Kenley, so I picked up the stuff. It was super fun and I can't wait to make more!

My mom joined us at the mall the other day and her and Ree had a great time in the train! :)

Most of you know that my step dad Monty has been my father since I was like 2. He raised me like I was his own blood and I have always felt he is my only Father. I never really knew my actual "real" father and he has now since past away. But I didn't ever need to because I had a Daddy the whole time :).

A special thank you to my dad Monty. I know he will always be here for me rain or shine. Love you.

We had a great weekend full of family and fun! Saturday I did a wedding all day then we headed over to my moms for a great meal. Avery swam with Gma and played in her room at their house. And she loved playing play dough with Gpa. We all got my dad a new camera and he was super stoked!

Sunday morning Avery gave Daddy his presents. An engraved photo frame book of pictures of her and I and some new shorts. I also made him something sentimental from my Creative Memories, BUT there were issues in printing and it hadn't arrived yet :(. But it came Monday and he loved it! It was a special card from Avery. Then later Sunday morning, Brandon's mom and step dad came over. I made us a big breakfast. We got Russ a new wallet and inside it was engraved "Papa" and a special picture from Ree. Afterward, Avery had a blast in her pool, painting, and playing play dough (her new favorite) with everyone.

We rounded off the evening at family dinner at Brandon's dads. I had spent the afternoon making a feast of chicken enchiladas and baking Pecan Pies for everyone while Avery and Daddy took well deserved naps. Avery as always was in the pool the whole time! She is obsessed! We got Brandon's dad a cool personalized serving tray and a shot rack. He loved it!

It was an amazing weekend. I am so lucky to have Brandon as a Daddy to Ree. They have such a special bond. She always asks "Where is MY Daddy?" and stuff like "That's my Daddy's". It's so cute!

Dirty Thirty Part 1!

Friday was Brandon's 30th birthday and we had a fun weekend planned for him! Friday night we went over to his sister Carli's new house (beautiful btw) to celebrate. My mom and dad came out to join us there as well. We had a delicious spread of carne asada, burgers, brats and much more! It was a fun evening with family.

Saturday morning I was up bright and early (what's new about that lol) and began running errands before work for his bday party at his dads that night. Brandon knew he was having a party but I had a few things up my sleeve! :) Jodi and I worked on a slide show to be played during the party of his "first 30 years". It turned out amazing! Also we blew up one of the pics (poster size) of him when he was like 7 or so to play an adult game of pin the tail on the donkey lol.

Also as a gift to Brandon, Jodi and his dad rented a huge water slide. And we also got a snow cone machine for vodka snow cones. As u can see we were going for an "adult" themed kid party. I think Brandon was pleasantly surprised with everything :).

He had a great time. It was so great seeing him so relaxed and surrounded by friends and family. He had a smile on his face the whole night. A lot of his close friends from childhood came and tons of new ones too.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who made it out to the party. And a HUGE thank you to all of the families to making both nights very special for Brandon. I LOVED seeing him have an amazing weekend!

My mom picks up Avery from school once a week while I'm at my new job (Russ does on the other day). They go to ice cream after then come home to nap untill I get here. Avery even told Papa when he picked her up "Gma takes me to ice cream" LOL!!! She already knows the game!

This week Avery got to spend another day with her Gma too. I took Joce to the airport, ran errands, then worked at the salon. She took her to swim lessons in the morning, then to grab lunch before her nap. Avery loooooooooves playing with her Gma. She has her own room at my moms that is all Ree'd out! Nemo stickers, princess bed, tons of toys, stickers, books and about anything a 2 year old could want. Her new favorite thing is having Tea Parties. And you know my mom gets right in on the action. She plays, and sets up her dolls so they can join in as well. I love getting all the pictures on my phone while I'm gone.

There is no greater feeling than having your baby with someone you love and trust so much like your own momma. And in my case I get to have amazing in laws as well to watch over my cupcake. We are BEYOND blessed to have so many wonderful Gma's, Gpa's, Papa's, Nana's, Pappy's, Grammy's, Aunties, and Uncles to help us out. And I know I say it a million times, but she has such a beautiful bond with each and every one of them. Now if I can only get Papa going with his new phone and sending me pics I'd be in heaven! :) HINT HINT!!! :)

Memorial Day Weekend Festivities

We had a great weekend with family and friends!! Friday night we had dinner and drinks over at Jodi and Ray's. Avery was up till past 11 playing with her aunts and uncles and having the best time. Saturday Brandon got a new car finally so he can stop driving his bike in the heat. We got a slammin deal on a 2001 Honda Civic in amazing condition. It's the perfect commuter for him. And still a great 4 door spacious car if we need to use it for the family as well.

Sunday we all got together for dinner and fun. Some great friends were able to join us. Avery had so much fun with her little friends. And I think the adults had even more fun LOL. Monday my mom came over and we got to have lunch with her then dinner back at Pappy and Grammy's and Ryder and Michelle came to join. A very fun, busy weekend and the best part was having Jocelyn here to share it with us. We miss her so much when she is gone!

Jocelyn is in town this week visiting and we are having a blast. On Saturday night us girls went to dinner at PF Changs then to see "The Full Monty" at the Broadway Theater where Hayden works. We had a great night full of food, fun, drinks, and laughs. I'm beyond blessed to have 4 amazing sisters (Jocelyn, Carli, Courtney and Sawyer) through Brandon. I love them so much and feel like I have a special bond with each of them. I feel like I am not really an only child anymore because I have sisters and brothers (Maverick and Hayden or as you may know him as "Uncle Moe") now. :)

Avery started back up her swim lessons last week with Jenni Cooper. She did Avery and Ryder's lessons last year and she is amazing!! Avery did so good last year and I couldn't wait to see what all she would learn this year, and to see her growth. The water was extremely cold, so that brought on most of the tears I believe LOL. And of course not having done this for almost a year. By the end of her first session the tears had gone, and by the second day she was back in the swing of it. She would get out and run to me and say, "Mommy I go under and I go to the wall". She was so proud of herself!! It was awesome! Let's just say this is all it took! This girl is back to to being a fish. This weekend in the pool she would just jump off the stairs over and over again. Then go under and "save" herself on the wall LOL. Just like she learns in her lessons. I'm so proud of my little water baby!!

We are very excited to go back to swim this week! Especially because our bestie will be there! Ryder hurt his foot on a bouncy last week at his cousins bday party. So he was not at school or swim last week. We missed him tons!

PS I'm obsessed with her eyelashes! They are so long and black! I love when they are wet, they look like she has mascara on LOL.
